Responsibility
- Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing, forecasting, and reserving across lines of business.
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, and validation using SQL, Python/R, and Excel to support model development.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to interpret results and drive business decisions.
- Prepare actuarial reports, summaries, and presentations for management and regulators.
- Assist with experience studies, scenario testing, and capital/risk modeling initiatives.
- Support SOX/compliance and data governance as needed.
- Proactively identify data quality issues and implement improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Progress towards ASA/FCAS/FSAs encouraged.
- 2–5 years of actuarial or related analytics experience; life, pension, or health domains welcome.
- Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R for data analysis; advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with actuarial software (Prophet, AXIS, Radar, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling with data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
