Bluecrest Actuarial Solutions is seeking a motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our New York City team. You will work on pricing, reserving, and financial modeling for a diverse portfolio of insurance products. Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain actuarial pricing and reserving models for multiple lines of business.

  • Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Support quarterly and annual reserve reviews, loss development exposure, and profitability analysis.

  • Participate in actuarial exams and continuous learning through internal training and external certification.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; professional actuarial status (Associate/Fellow) a plus.
  • 2+ years of actuarial or analytics experience in insurance, preferably pricing or reserving.
  • Strong proficiency in R or Python, SAS, SQL, and advanced Excel; experience with actuarial software (Prophet, GGY AXIS) a plus.
  • Solid understanding of risk metrics, loss development, credibility theory, and reserving methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
