KH Event Management is seeking a proactive Admin & Account Executive to join our Johor Bahru team. This role blends essential administrative support with basic accounting responsibilities to keep our operations running smoothly for events and client projects. You will be the backbone of daily workflows, handling data entry, filing, supplier coordination, and routine financial tasks. This is a hands-on position ideal for organized professionals who enjoy multitasking and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our administrative processes and learn the fundamentals of bookkeeping. You’ll assist with invoicing, expense claims, and routine financial reconciliations while supporting a small finance function. Responsibility
- Provide daily administrative support including document filing, scheduling, and correspondence management.
- Process supplier invoices, assist with purchase orders, and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Enter and reconcile financial transactions in the company accounting system; support basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable support, and expense claims.
- Prepare routine financial reports and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event operations and client communications.
- Maintain orderly records, ensure data integrity, and support compliance with company policies.
Qualification
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ year of administrative or basic accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates considered.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail; accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork; proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently, uphold confidentiality, and adhere to deadlines.
