Join Hudson Talent Solutions as an Aladdin Business Analyst on a 12-month contract and play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of BlackRock Aladdin. In this role, you will collaborate with portfolio managers, risk managers, operations teams, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into Aladdin configurations, data models, and workflow enhancements. You will contribute to project planning, testing, and user training, ensuring seamless deployment and continuous optimization to maximize the platform’s value.
Key objectives include ensuring data integrity, enabling accurate risk analytics, aligning Aladdin functionality with regulatory and compliance standards, and delivering timely reporting for informed decision-making. You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements through automation and process redesign.

Responsibility
- Lead or support Aladdin implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, and optimization to meet business objectives.
- Partner with portfolio management, risk, operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into Aladdin workflows and data models.
- Manage data mapping, validation, and integrity for positions, trades, reference data, and analytics within Aladdin.
- Plan and execute testing strategies (unit, integration, and user acceptance), track issues, and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor system performance, incident management, and root cause analyses; implement fixes and continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, user guides, and training materials; deliver training and ongoing user support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, dashboards, and reporting to enhance decision making and operational efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin in an investment management environment.
- Strong analytical skills, data modeling capabilities, and proficiency with SQL and data governance.
- Knowledge of risk management, portfolio accounting, and investment operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Project management experience or a structured project environment with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting, data security, and controls; experience in the Singapore market is a plus.
