NovaChem Labs is seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our fast-paced R&D and QC teams in Boston. The ideal candidate will design and validate analytical methods, perform chromatographic analyses, and contribute to quality systems that support pharmaceutical and materials science projects.

Responsibility
- Develop and validate analytical methods including HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, and spectroscopic techniques in support of projects.
- Execute routine and non-routine analyses with rigorous data integrity and documentation.
- Interpret results, troubleshoot analytical issues, and optimize assay performance.
- Collaborate with R&D and QA to ensure GLP/GMP compliance and audit readiness.
- Prepare technical reports, method SOPs, and change controls.
- Train junior analysts and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on analytical chemistry experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or materials sectors.
- Strong proficiency with HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR or FTIR; data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with GLP/GMP, ISO 17025, and documentation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data handling software (Empower, ChemStation, MassHunter) and basic Python for data analysis.
