Job description

Join rhi group as an Application Support Analyst and be a pivotal part of our global data management initiative. This contract role is ideal for a hands on professional who can deliver expert Cloud, Data and Microsoft 365 support for a large scale data segregation and migration project spanning multiple regions. You will partner with global teams to ensure service reliability, data integrity and exceptional user experience while navigating dynamic requirements and tight timelines.

As a trusted advisor, you will troubleshoot complex issues, manage incidents from triage to resolution, and contribute to proactive monitoring, optimization and automation. You will support identity and access management, cloud services and data platforms, ensuring security controls, governance and compliance are consistently applied. This role offers visibility across stakeholders and the chance to influence how data is harmonized and migrated on a worldwide scale.

This is a dynamic contract opportunity based in Kuala Lumpur with potential for extension. You will work with a collaborative, global team and have the chance to drive meaningful improvements in how the organization delivers cloud and data services to internal and external partners.

Responsibility

  • Provide responsive incident, problem and change management support for Cloud, Data and Microsoft 365 platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues; collaborate with cross functional teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Monitor system performance, security events and data integrity during data segregation and migration tasks.
  • Assist with user access management, authentication and provisioning within Microsoft 365 and related cloud services.
  • Coordinate with global stakeholders to plan, execute and validate data migration milestones and cutovers.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge articles for ongoing operations and new hire onboarding.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and optimizing support processes.
  • Prepare and present status updates to management and stakeholders, clearly communicating risks and mitigation plans.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as an Application Support Analyst or similar role focused on Cloud, Data and Microsoft 365 support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, Azure AD, Exchange Online and related cloud services.
  • Experience with data migration and data segregation projects; familiarity with data governance and privacy considerations.
  • Solid incident management and problem solving skills; ITIL fundamentals are a plus.
  • Proficient troubleshooting abilities with a structured, analytical approach and excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
