Lippo Malls Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Architect to join our Lippo Mall Head Office in Jakarta. In this role, you will drive architectural design across retail and office projects, focusing on layout optimization, facade development, and seamless coordination with Head Office, operations teams, external consultants, and contractors. You will own the project pipeline from concept through construction, ensuring architectural quality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery while upholding Lippo's standard for design excellence. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, interior designers, and procurement to translate business goals into functional, aesthetically compelling spaces that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep knowledge of retail environment design, and hands-on experience with design software and BIM workflows. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic organization that values attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and sustainable design practices.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end architectural design for Lippo Mall Head Office projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and regional requirements.
- Develop concept layouts and facade designs for mall and corporate spaces, coordinating with Head Office, operations, and consultants.
- Manage project pipeline, create and review construction drawings, BIM models, and 3D visuals to communicate design intent clearly.
- Oversee compliance with local building codes, permits, and sustainability targets throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, interior designers, and procurement to translate design into buildable solutions within budget and schedule.
- Review external design proposals, monitor vendor performance, and coordinate change management efficiently.
- Mentor junior designers and coordinate cross-functional teams to foster high-quality outputs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; professional license preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in retail or commercial architecture, with a portfolio of mall or large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, 3ds Max, and visualization tools; strong facade design experience.
- Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Indonesian building codes, regulations, and permitting processes; fluency in Indonesian and English.
- Experience with sustainability and energy-efficient design practices; ability to lead design reviews and approvals.
- Creative problem-solver with attention to detail and deadlines.
