Responsibility
- Prepare and bake artisan breads, pastries, and specialty items from scratch daily.
- Monitor baking processes and adjust recipes or equipment for optimal results.
- Maintain strict quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Oversee ingredient inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
- Ensure sanitation and safety procedures align with bakery regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on new product development.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff.
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in artisan or commercial bakery.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dough fermentation, mixing, and shaping techniques.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Formal culinary or baking certification is a plus.
