Join a fast-growing food & beverage leader based in Seattle. Northwest Harvest Foods is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Manager to lead our food safety program and elevate product quality from concept to production.
In this role you will own the development and implementation of quality systems, drive supplier quality, and partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, compliant, and consistent products that delight customers.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC-compliant quality systems across all production lines.
- Own QA metrics, CAPA, non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate internal audits and supplier quality assessments; manage external certifications and inspections.
- Partner with R&D and Operations to drive process optimization, yield improvement, and product safety enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training programs for quality, food safety, and hygiene across teams.
- Lead cross-functional root cause analyses and data-driven decision making through dashboards and reports.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and change control aligned with regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in QA/QA management within food manufacturing or processing environments.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, cGMP, FDA/USDA regulations, and SQF or BRC standards.
- Proven experience leading audits, CAPA programs, supplier quality management, and risk assessments.
- Excellent data analysis skills and familiarity with QA software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, InfinityQS) and MS Office.
- Effective leadership, communication, and training abilities; able to influence cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for supplier visits and audits.
