We are seeking an accomplished Asset Valuation Analyst to join our Singapore-based team. This role focuses on valuations across real assets, financial instruments, and intangible assets for clients in private equity, corporate finance, and asset management. The ideal candidate combines rigorous financial modeling, IFRS-compliant reporting, and a client-first mindset to deliver precise, decision-grade valuations.
As part of our Valuation & Advisory group, you will work with cross-functional teams to produce valuation reports, conduct impairment analyses, support transaction diligence, and contribute to thought leadership in valuation methodologies.
Responsibility
- Conduct market, income, and cost approaches to value assets including real estate, equipment, intangible assets, and portfolios.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models (DCF, sensitivity, scenario analyses) with a focus on accuracy and auditability.
- Prepare valuation reports in accordance with IFRS 13 and client requirements; present executive summaries to stakeholders.
- Perform impairment testing and fair value assessments for financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Support deal teams through due diligence, transaction structuring, and fundraising activities.
- Engage with clients to understand objectives, manage timelines, and communicate valuation results clearly.
- Maintain data quality and governance, manage valuation databases, and ensure documentation compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Valuation, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or valuation advisory.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Argus, VBA, and financial modeling tools; proficiency in data sources (Bloomberg, CapitalIQ).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 13 (or equivalent) and valuation standards; ability to apply multiple approaches (income, market, cost).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication; experience preparing high-quality reports for diverse audiences.
- Professional certification (CFA, ASA, CVA) or an active plan to pursue is a plus; knowledge of local regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed (0-20%).
