Pinnacle Valuation Partners is a premier advisory firm delivering rigorous asset valuations for financial institutions, corporations, and investors across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Valuation Analyst to join our New York City team.
The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced financial modeling, strong analytical acumen, and a client-facing mindset. This role offers exposure to a broad range of asset classes, including real estate, securities, and intangible assets, with a clear path to senior responsibilities.
Responsibility
- Lead asset valuation engagements from scoping through final reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain valuation models (DCF, multiples, cost approach) and perform sensitivity analyses.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources; ensure data quality and audit trails.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports in line with IFRS/US GAAP and industry standards.
- Communicate valuation findings to clients and internal stakeholders through clear presentations.
- Collaborate with finance, risk, and investment teams to support decision making.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across engagements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional valuation experience across asset classes (real estate, financial instruments, intangibles).
- Strong financial modeling, Excel proficiency; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and professional valuation standards.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with client-facing experience.
- Professional certifications such as ASA, CFA, or MRICS are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
