Join Pinnacle Valuation Partners, a leading finance firm specializing in asset valuation across portfolios, markets, and sectors. We are seeking a proactive Asset Valuation Analyst to help deliver high-integrity valuations for tangible and intangible assets, including real estate, machinery, and financial instruments. This role combines quantitative modeling with strategic insight to support investment decisions, corporate reporting, and client advisory.
In this role you will collaborate with finance, corporate development, and risk teams to build robust valuation frameworks, maintain valuation models, and ensure compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards. A strong candidate will blend technical rigor with clear storytelling for stakeholders.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation projects, including data collection, model development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Design and maintain valuation models (DCF, Market Approach, Cost Approach) for tangible and intangible assets.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment to support decision making.
- Conduct market and asset-specific research to support pricing and valuation conclusions.
- Prepare client-ready valuation reports and presentations with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, risk, and advisory) to ensure alignment with standards and policies.
- Maintain documentation, governance, and audit trails to meet regulatory and internal control requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or MSc strongly preferred).
- 3+ years of asset valuation, corporate finance, investment banking, or related experience; exposure to real estate, equipment, or IP valuation is a plus.
- Professional credentials such as CFA, FRM, or ASA are highly desirable.
- Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in DCF, Market Approach, Cost Approach, and scenario analysis; advanced Excel and VBA; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP; experience with valuation standards, disclosures, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities, with a strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
