Responsibility
- Conduct and document independent asset valuations using established methodologies (DCF, comparables, cost approach) for a diverse client base.
- Build and maintain robust financial models, perform sensitivity analysis, and stress tests to support valuation conclusions.
- Forecast asset cash flows, discount rates, and risk adjustments in alignment with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
- Prepare valuation reports, summaries, and presentation decks for clients, audit teams, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, advisory) to gather data and validate inputs.
- Perform market and asset-specific research to validate assumptions and market trends.
- Support engagement proposals, timelines, and quality control processes to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist in maintaining data rooms, documentation, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA/ASA or progress toward designation is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or corporate finance with exposure to real assets and/or intangible assets.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, VBA) and valuation software; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, market approach, income approach) and IFRS/IAS standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex analyses into clear client-ready reports.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, in teams, and in a client-facing environment; high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Professional certification or coursework in valuation, finance, or accounting is preferred.
