As an Asset Valuation Analyst, you will partner with investment teams and senior leadership to deliver rigorous, standards-compliant valuations and reports. You will apply a range of methodologies, validate inputs, and ensure transparent documentation for audit and governance purposes.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation projects across real assets, financial instruments, and business valuations.
- Develop and maintain robust valuation models (DCF, market multiples, precedent transactions, option pricing) and perform scenario analyses.
- Collaborate with finance, investment, and external stakeholders to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Prepare valuation reports for financial statements, M&A, regulatory filings, and governance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS 36, local standards, and internal valuation policies.
- Maintain data governance, audit trails, and documentation for methodologies and judgments.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA/ASA/FRM is a plus.
- 3-6 years of asset valuation experience across real assets, financial instruments, or business valuations.
- Strong proficiency in valuation techniques: DCF, multiples, real options, and scenario planning.
- Advanced Excel modeling (including VBA) and familiarity with valuation software (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet).
- Solid understanding of IFRS/IAS 36 (or local standards) and valuation governance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize deadlines, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
