Responsibility
- Lead and perform fair value and market valuations for equities, fixed income, real estate, and intangible assets across client portfolios.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models (DCF, LBO, sum-of-the-parts) to support valuation conclusions.
- Analyze market data, asset-level risk drivers, and sensitivity analyses to inform investment decisions.
- Prepare valuation reports in line with IFRS 13, GAAP, ASC 820, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Investment, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure valuation timelines and accuracy.
- Communicate complex valuation findings to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and impact.
- Assist in due diligence for M&A and asset acquisitions, including scenario planning and model validation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or related roles in a professional services or financial institution.
- Strong proficiency in DCF, LBO, option pricing, and other valuation methodologies.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with valuation software (e.g., Argus, Capital IQ, Bloomberg) and Python/R is a plus.
- Solid understanding of IFRS 13, GAAP, ASC 820, and fair value accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and accuracy.
