We are seeking a seasoned Asset Valuation Analyst to join our New York team and drive assessments across real estate, business enterprises, and intangible assets.

In this role, you will apply established valuation methodologies, maintain meticulous documentation, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client expectations, and contribute to process improvements that elevate valuation quality and efficiency.

Responsibility

  • Conduct asset valuations using income, market, and cost approaches for real estate, businesses, and intangibles.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports aligned with IFRS/GAAP, USPAP/IVS standards, and audit requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models (DCF, comparables, sensitivity analysis) in Excel.
  • Validate data sources, perform data quality checks, and manage data gaps and assumptions.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather inputs, present findings, and address questions.
  • Collaborate with analysts to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project milestones.
  • Stay current on valuation standards, industry practices, and regulatory changes affecting asset valuation.
  • Support engagement logistics, documentation, and audit readiness, ensuring compliance and quality.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA/ASA or equivalent preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on asset valuation experience (real estate, securities, or intangibles).
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with valuation software.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and valuation standards (IVS, USPAP).
  • Data analysis capabilities; ability to work with large datasets and perform scenario analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements.
