Join a premium financial services firm focused on precise, data-driven asset valuations. Nexus Capital Partners seeks a seasoned Asset Valuation Specialist to lead complex valuation engagements across corporate assets, financial instruments, and real estate portfolios.

As part of our Valuation & Advisory team, you will develop robust valuation models, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver credible insights to inform investment decisions and strategic planning.

Responsibility

  • Lead asset valuation engagements for corporate assets, intangible assets, and real estate portfolios across client and internal projects.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and scenario analyses.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis, risk assessment, and clearly communicate valuation conclusions to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with appraisers, auditors, tax, and legal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and IVSC valuation standards in all engagements.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and compelling presentation materials for investment committees and clients.
  • Mentor junior analysts, guide workstreams, and support business development proposals.
  • Utilize valuation software and data sources (e.g., Argus, Bloomberg, CapIQ) to enhance analyses.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; professional credentials (CFA/ACA/CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of asset valuation experience across corporate assets, real estate, and intangible assets.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel; programming experience in Python or R is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and IVSC valuation standards.
  • Experience with valuation software (Argus, Bloomberg, CapIQ) and data sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex concepts to executives and boards.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently.
