Argentum Valuation Partners is seeking a highly skilled Asset Valuation Specialist to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on fair value determinations, impairment testing, and strategic asset analysis for corporate and private clients. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling with deep knowledge of IFRS 13 and asset monetization strategies.
As a trusted advisor, you will lead end-to-end valuation engagements, build robust models, assess tangible and intangible assets, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation engagements for tangible and intangible assets across industries.
- Develop and maintain discounted cash flow models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity testing.
- Assess fair value under IFRS 13/US GAAP guidelines and prepare comprehensive valuation reports.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and business teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Provide impairment testing support, asset retirement obligation analysis, and risk assessment.
- Present findings to executives with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to practice development and quality control.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; CFA/CPA is a plus.
- 5+ years of asset valuation experience in professional services, investment management, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis) and advanced Excel; knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS 13, US GAAP impairment guidance, and valuation standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements with attention to detail and quality.
- Professional membership in valuation societies or licensure is advantageous.
