Join MAWK ARCHITECTS LLP, a boutique practice focused on thoughtful, sustainable design. We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Architect to support project teams from concept through documentation and construction administration. As an integral member of our design studio in Bugis, you will work closely with senior architects to translate clients' vision into deliverable design concepts, construction drawings, and technical details. You will contribute to presentations, 3D models, and BIM workflows, while ensuring that project documentation is accurate, on schedule, and compliant with local codes and standards.
What you will do includes collaborating with engineers and consultants, coordinating design development, and supporting site visits and RFI responses. You will have the opportunity to lead facets of a project team when assigned, with incentives tied to project success.

Proficiency with CAD and BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is highly valued, along with strong graphic and presentation skills. You will participate in client meetings, produce design development drawings, and contribute to material selection and detailing for construction documents.
Responsibility
- Assist in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation from concept through permitting and construction.
- Prepare drawings, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models using CAD/BIM software.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and clients to integrate systems and design intent.
- Develop presentation materials and renderings for client meetings and design reviews.
- Maintain organized project documentation, revision control, and compliance with codes and standards.
- Support site visits and construction administration, including RFI responses and submittals.
- Lead portions of a project team when assigned, contributing to on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
- Contribute to material selections, detailing, and design decisions in collaboration with senior architects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent; 1–3 years of professional practice; local Singapore experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp; familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of local codes, standards, and building regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio.
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail and construction detailing.
- Fluency in English; team player with a proactive mindset.
