Join Mahardika Agung Lestari as an Assistant Manager in Finance, Accounting & Tax. In this role you will lead the planning, execution, monitoring and control of financial reporting to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance. You will partner with key functions to optimize financial performance and ensure strong internal controls.
Your responsibilities include overseeing monthly and quarterly closes, preparing accurate financial statements, managing budgets, forecasts, and tax filings, and driving process improvements in accounting and tax processes. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with auditors, and provide insights on cash flow, cost control, and working capital management. You will stay updated on Indonesian accounting standards (SAK and IFRS) and tax regulations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
As a member of the finance leadership team, you will help shape the financial roadmap, collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement to optimize margins, control costs, and improve forecast accuracy. You will lead process improvements, implement new controls for compliance with local tax laws, liaise with external auditors, and support statutory reporting requirements. The role requires hands-on management, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibility
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes with accurate reporting and reconciliation
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Prepare and present timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and regulatory filings
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure integrity of financial data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and working capital
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax roles; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK/IFRS) and tax regulations
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership and team-management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Indonesian and English
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
