Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day general ledger activities including month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accurately prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain robust internal control documentation.
- Analyze variances against budget and forecast; provide insightful commentary to leadership.
- Coordinate with external auditors and prepare schedules for annual audits.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, Tax, and FP&A to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to streamline close cycles.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CIA designation preferred.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, with strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit readiness.
