In this role, you will oversee import purchasing activities, ensure supplier performance, and drive cost optimization across direct and indirect procurement. Responsibility
- Lead and manage import purchasing activities including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse and Production teams to ensure on time delivery and optimal inventory levels
- Monitor supplier performance; implement development plans and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs clearance, documentation accuracy and licensing
- Manage procurement budgets, forecasts and cost saving initiatives; track key performance indicators
- Negotiate terms and prices, manage Incoterms and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Implement and optimize procurement processes within ERP; raise purchase orders and onboard new suppliers
- Lead cross functional projects for new product introductions and supplier transitions
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years in import purchasing or procurement; strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations and customs
- Proven negotiation skills and supplier management experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite or similar) and MS Excel
- Strong English and Indonesian communication; ability to coordinate cross functional teams
- Familiarity with Incoterms, risk management and compliance
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Leadership capabilities and experience mentoring junior staff
