Responsibility

  • Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth production flow and on-time delivery of products.
  • Coordinate production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet demand.
  • Monitor inventory levels, implement FIFO, and manage supplier relationships and procurement processes.
  • Enforce quality assurance standards, food safety practices, and sanitation compliance across all teams.
  • Lead and develop operations staff, assign tasks, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze performance metrics (throughput, waste, labor efficiency) and drive cost optimization without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborate with retail and marketing teams to ensure product availability aligns with promotions and events.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and training programs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in bakery, food production, or manufacturing operations; 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and vendor relations.
