Join Recruit Express as an Assistant Nurse Clinician in a Nursing Home and make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly residents. As part of our nursing team, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical support, monitoring residents’ conditions, and assisting with activities of daily living. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care professionals to implement evidence-based interventions, ensure timely documentation, and contribute to continuous improvements in care quality. You’ll also support infection control measures, medication administration procedures, and the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date records.

Responsibility
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, monitoring health status and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal care to promote comfort and independence.
- Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications per protocol, and document care accurately in the resident's chart.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to assess needs and implement individualized care plans.
- Support wound care, basic clinical procedures, rehabilitation exercises, and routine diagnostics under supervision as appropriate.
- Ensure infection control practices, patient safety, and adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in care-planning meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and mentor junior staff where applicable.
Qualification
- Valid nursing license or enrollment with the Singapore Nursing Board (or relevant regulatory body).
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent; current practicing certification as required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in elderly care or a nursing home setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles, patient safety, and care planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, empathetic, and resident-centered approach to care.
