Responsibility
- Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications accurately and safely.
- Provide clear, empathetic medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, administration, storage, potential interactions, and adverse effects.
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including inventory control, stock checks, expiry tracking, and coordination with suppliers.
- Verify prescriptions for completeness and legality, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Support OTC product recommendations and health consultations while adhering to professional guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and standard operating procedures within the pharmacy.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care and timely service, contributing to a positive patient experience.
Qualification
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D3) or equivalent; certification as an Assistant Pharmacist or relevant training is preferred.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, dispensing processes, and labeling requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and accuracy; excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities; fluent Indonesian; English is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management systems.
- Licensed or eligible for certification as an assistant pharmacist where required by local regulations.
