Responsibility

  • Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications accurately and safely.
  • Provide clear, empathetic medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, administration, storage, potential interactions, and adverse effects.
  • Manage daily pharmacy operations including inventory control, stock checks, expiry tracking, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Verify prescriptions for completeness and legality, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Support OTC product recommendations and health consultations while adhering to professional guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and standard operating procedures within the pharmacy.

Qualification

  • Diploma in Pharmacy (D3) or equivalent; certification as an Assistant Pharmacist or relevant training is preferred.

  • Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, dispensing processes, and labeling requirements.
