Samgyupsalamat is seeking a professional and proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila. You will partner with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure consistent service quality, and uphold the brandβs standards for food safety and cleanliness.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, coordinating with kitchen staff, and leading efficient service during peak hours. You will monitor product quality, portion control, waste reduction, and inventory levels, while managing cost controls and cash handling with accuracy on every shift. Your proactive approach to guest relations will help resolve issues quickly and maintain high satisfaction scores.

You will assist with scheduling, wage control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibility
- Lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Supervise service staff; coach, schedule, and delegate tasks to maintain peak performance during busy periods.
- Monitor product quality, portion control, waste reduction, and inventory levels; coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation standards, and brand guidelines.
- Oversee cash handling, POS procedures, and daily cash reconciliation with precise reporting.
- Handle guest feedback and inquiries; resolve issues promptly to maximize guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in training, onboarding, and performance coaching for new hires; support career development opportunities.
Qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or as an assistant manager; hospitality background preferred.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills with a coach-like approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service abilities.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic financial reporting.
- Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field; bachelor's preferred.
