Overview
Join Collective Outsourcing, a growing AU accounting firm that delivers reliable tax and accounting services to Australian clients. This is a remote, full time role designed for a proactive professional who wants to work from home while delivering high quality tax compliance, advisory services and financial reporting for Australian entities. Based in Central Luzon, Philippines, you will collaborate with a multinational client base and a supportive team that values accuracy, integrity and client focus.
What you will do
- Prepare and file Australian individual and business tax returns in compliance with ATO rules and timelines.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and GST returns, payroll tax and other obligations for Australian clients as required.
- Contribute to tax planning and advisory work to minimize liabilities while staying compliant with current tax laws.
- Reconcile accounts, generate accurate financial statements and support year end processes for Australian entities.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and clients to gather information, resolve issues and deliver timely service.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of evolving Australian tax legislation and regulatory changes.
- Ensure quality control and timely delivery of services with meticulous attention to detail.
About you
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CA designation preferred.
- 2 or more years of AU tax and accounting experience, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation including income tax, GST and BAS obligations.
- Proficiency in cloud based accounting software such as Xero or MYOB and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent English communication and written skills; ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving and analytical abilities.
