Responsibility
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in Singapore and the region.
- Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures, applying risk-based audit techniques.
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documents to identify discrepancies and anomalies.
- Prepare high-quality working papers, audit documentation, and clear audit conclusions in line with professional standards.
- Communicate findings and observations to supervisors, and participate in timely audit reporting.
- Support internal control assessments, risk evaluations, and process improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with client personnel and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure effective engagement delivery.
- Contribute to a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous learning within the team.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Solid understanding of auditing standards and financial reporting processes; familiarity with IFRS/SS is a plus.
- Strong numerical proficiency, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to data analytics tools is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; client-facing experience is helpful.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; strong time-management skills.
- Motivation to pursue professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) and commit to a growth mindset.
