Responsibility
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD for commercial and retail projects.
- Interpret architectural and engineering sketches, notes, and specifications to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on project requirements and feedback from architects and engineers.
- Ensure that all drafts and designs comply with industry standards and company procedures.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met on time.
- Assist in preparing construction documents, plans, and permit packages as required.
- Maintain an organized digital archive of drawings and documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience as an AutoCAD Drafter.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other design software (e.g. SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, codes, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
