What you will do:
- Turn raw data into actionable insights by building and maintaining robust analytical models for profitability, capital, and risk metrics.
- Lead regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with AML/KYC guidelines and Basel framework requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product pricing, margin analysis, and scenario planning.
- Develop dashboards and management reports for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and risk signals.
- Own data governance initiatives, including data quality improvement and documentation of methodologies.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and governance across analytics workflows.
Responsibility
- Lead financial risk assessment and regulatory reporting for retail and corporate portfolios across global markets.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast profitability and capital adequacy.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and finance teams to ensure adherence to AML/KYC and Basel standards.
- Analyze large datasets, generate actionable insights, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Support system enhancements and data governance initiatives within analytics platforms.
- Prepare management dashboards and monthly performance reviews for executive audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of banking experience focusing on risk analytics, regulatory reporting, or financial planning and analysis.
- Strong SQL proficiency; Python or R experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of AML/KYC requirements and Basel III/IV principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or ACA are advantageous.
