Responsibility
- Craft a range of espresso-based beverages, teas, and seasonal specials to a consistent standard.
- Warmly greet customers, take accurate orders, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, handle payments, and manage transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold health and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain coffee equipment; perform basic daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Restock supplies and manage front-of-house inventory for smooth service.
- Create beverage presentations with attention to detail, including latte art where applicable.
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service during busy periods and contribute to a positive cafe atmosphere.
Qualification
- Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred; strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills; ability to engage with customers in Indonesian and English.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and cash handling.
- Creativity and passion for beverage presentation; willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during peak hours.
- Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, milk textures, and basic machine maintenance.
