Join Hill House as a Barista in Antipolo City, Rizal. We are seeking a friendly, detail oriented hospitality professional to craft delicious coffees and beverages, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain a clean, inviting cafe environment. As a Barista at Hill House, you will be the face of our beverage program, welcoming guests, taking orders, preparing espresso-based drinks, tea, and specialty beverages, and ensuring consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation. You will follow standard recipes, monitor quality, manage multiple orders with speed and accuracy, and maintain a clean bar area. You will also assist with stock, equipment upkeep, and basic cash handling to ensure smooth service.

Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages (coffee, tea, and specialty drinks) following Hill House standards to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature.
- Operate and clean espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, blenders, and other cafe equipment; perform regular maintenance and sanitation.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area; restock ingredients, monitor inventory, and minimize waste.
- Take customer orders with a friendly, professional approach; upsell where appropriate and process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure quality control by checking beverage parameters, layering, latte art where applicable, and timely delivery to guests.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards; follow food-handling guidelines and wear appropriate personal hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with teammates and management to ensure smooth service during peak hours; communicate needs clearly and support colleagues.
- Assist with opening/closing duties, cleaning schedules, and light administrative tasks as required by the cafe team.
Qualification
- Previous experience as a Barista or in hospitality/food service is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and pay attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage recipes; willingness to learn Hill House standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team player mindset.
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for full-time role.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks; ability to lift supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Commitment to hygiene, health and safety practices and compliance with cafe policies.
