In this role, you will maintain general ledgers, process invoices and payments, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure timely, compliant financial activities. Responsibility
- Maintain accurate general ledger and sub-ledgers in Xero, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor setup, invoice entry, approval workflows, and timely payments.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations; monitor cash balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities with timely financial reporting and schedule preparation.
- Assist with payroll data processing and coordination with HR or payroll provider as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and enhance reporting formats for better business insights.
Qualification
- Xero Certification or demonstrated expertise in Xero bookkeeping.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in promotions, retail, or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; ability to manipulate data and generate insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills; ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Relevant degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
