Beehive BPO is seeking a skilled CAD & Countertop Design Specialist to join our design team in San Pedro City, Laguna. If you excel in creating precise 2D and 3D CAD models, producing fabrication-ready drawings, and translating client requirements into manufacturable solutions, this role is for you. Responsibility
- Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models of countertops, cabinetry, and related architectural components using AutoCAD and other CAD tools.
- Develop fabrication drawings, cut lists, materials specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing and installation teams.
- Translate client requirements and engineering notes into production-ready designs with precise dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to review designs, resolve issues, and ensure feasibility for CNC machining.
- Maintain and organize the CAD library, version control, and standardized drawing templates to improve consistency.
- Prepare markups, revisions, and documentation for construction projects and permit applications as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and provide design optimization suggestions to reduce waste and production costs.
- Assist with CNC programming and setup training to ensure accurate transfer of CAD data to machines (CNC training provided).
Qualification
- Proven experience in CAD drafting with 2D/3D modeling, preferably using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
- Hands-on experience in countertop design, cabinetry, or related architectural detailing.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and material take-offs.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, tolerances, and fabrication considerations.
- Familiarity with materials used in countertops (stone, quartz, laminate, solid surface) and their manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and production teams.
- Willingness to learn CNC processes; prior CNC exposure is a plus; CNC training provided.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant CAD design work is highly preferred.
