Join a friendly, fast-paced cafe team at Private Advertiser, located near Woodlands Regional Centre. As a Cafe Service Crew member, you'll be the face of our welcoming establishment, delivering warm hospitality and high-quality food and beverages. You will prepare and serve beverages and light bites, take orders with a smile, and ensure accurate transactions and timely service. You’ll maintain a clean, safe, and inviting dining area, uphold our hygiene standards, and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet guest needs during peak hours. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction, and we provide comprehensive on-the-job training so you can grow your skills in customer service, product knowledge, and basic barista techniques.

Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and deliver items with accuracy and speed.
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages (coffee, tea, cold drinks) and light food items.
- Operate the POS system, process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service counters, dining area, and equipment; follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with basic cafe maintenance.
- Upsell promotions and daily specials to enhance guest experience and average spend.
- Collaborate with kitchen and cafe staff to meet guest needs during busy periods and manage multitasking.
- Assist with opening/closing duties, including cash reconciliation and end-of-day reporting.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; customer-service orientation.
- Prior experience in cafe, restaurant, or retail is preferred; willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and patient demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using a POS system.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices; willingness to learn and follow guidelines.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude, reliability, teamwork, and a desire to grow within hospitality.
