Responsibility
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service at the hospital canteen or dining area.
- Accurately process cash and card transactions using the POS system; issue receipts and balance cash drawer at shift end.
- Prepare and serve beverages and light meals according to quality and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized service area, handle stock replenishment, and assist with inventory control.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of utensils, food, and waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Provide courteous upselling of daily specials and menu items to enhance guest experience.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cash handling or food service experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English and Filipino languages as needed.
- Basic math skills and cash handling accuracy; ability to operate a POS system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and multi-task effectively.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and reliability; flexible scheduling including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Willingness to learn about hospital policies, dietary restrictions, and menu offerings.
