Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya is hiring a diligent and detail oriented Checker for our Parepare warehouse to join a fast-paced distribution team. This role focuses on accurate receiving, inspection, and verification of goods as they enter our supply chain. You will partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure each delivery aligns with the accompanying Surat Jalan and that inventory records reflect the actual stock available for order fulfillment. The position is ideal for someone with prior experience as a picker or checker in a distribution center and a passion for accuracy and process improvement.
In this role, you will quickly learn Garudafood's receiving workflows, QA standards, and safety requirements. You will be responsible for verifying shipments against packing lists, recording quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates where applicable, and escalating discrepancies to supervisors promptly. You will also assist with labeling, staging, and put-away to correct storage locations while maintaining clean and organized receiving areas. Collaboration with warehouse colleagues and cross-functional teams is essential, as is a commitment to quality and waste reduction.

Responsibility
- Inspect incoming shipments and verify quantities, item codes, and packaging against supplier delivery notes and purchase orders;
- Perform quality checks and ensure products meet receiving standards and are free from damage; report issues promptly;
- Record accurate data in the warehouse system and adjust inventory records as needed to reflect real counts;
- Sort, stage, and put-away goods to appropriate storage locations following standard operating procedures;
- Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and comply with safety, hygiene, and food-grade handling requirements;
- Coordinate with warehouse and stock teams to resolve discrepancies and support timely order fulfillment;
- Assist with cycle counts and basic inventory reconciliation as directed by supervisors.
Qualification
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar picking/checking role; food or consumer goods is a plus;
- Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills; ability to identify and report discrepancies accurately;
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory control practices; basic computer literacy required;
- Ability to read and interpret supplier documents and packing lists; basic math skills including counting and unit conversion;
- Good communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling in a warehouse setting; willingness to comply with safety policies.
