Responsibility
- Design and execute experiments in synthetic chemistry, purification, and compound characterization to meet project goals.
- Develop and validate analytical methods (HPLC, GC, NMR, IR, UV-Vis) for quality control and method transfer.
- Optimize reaction conditions and scale up processes from bench to pilot scale while maintaining product quality.
- Interpret data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; maintain accurate documentation and SOPs.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and QA teams to drive project milestones and contribute to process improvement.
Qualification
- Master or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; relevant industry experience considered for senior roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, and method development.
- Proficiency with HPLC, GC, NMR, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy; experience with method validation and data analysis.
- Experience in process development, scale-up, and QC/QA in a laboratory setting.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with chem software such as ChemDraw, Gaussian, or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams; strong problem solving and organizational skills.
