We are seeking a motivated Clinic Assistant to join Private Advertiser, a reputable healthcare team in Kulai, Johor. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care and the smooth operation of a busy clinic. The Clinic Assistant will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm welcome and an efficiently run front desk.
In this role, you will manage front-desk activities, schedule appointments, and handle patient intake with accuracy and discretion. You will support clinicians by preparing examination rooms, organizing supplies, and assisting with routine tasks, all while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. Your excellent communication skills will help patients understand procedures, answer questions, and coordinate referrals or tests as needed. You will also manage medical records updates, process payments, and ensure confidentiality in line with local privacy regulations.

Responsibility
- Greet patients and manage front-desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
- Schedule appointments, manage cancellations/reschedules, and handle front-desk inquiries.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist clinicians with routine tasks during patient visits.
- Take basic patient measurements (height, weight, vitals) as trained and record accurately.
- Handle patient intake, update medical records, and ensure data privacy and accuracy.
- Coordinate referrals, lab tests, and follow-up appointments with the clinic network.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies; sanitize and clean exam rooms to uphold hygiene standards.
- Process payments and assist with billing/insurance verification as applicable, while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare certification is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinic or healthcare front desk environment; training accepted.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; patient-focused and empathetic.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or clinic software; MS Office.
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of patient privacy and data protection regulations (PDPA) and confidentiality best practices.
- Team-oriented mindset with reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
