We are seeking a motivated Clinic Assistant to join Private Advertiser, a reputable healthcare team in Kulai, Johor. You will support clinicians by preparing examination rooms, organizing supplies, and assisting with routine tasks, all while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. Your excellent communication skills will help patients understand procedures, answer questions, and coordinate referrals or tests as needed. Responsibility

  • Greet patients and manage front-desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
  • Schedule appointments, manage cancellations/reschedules, and handle front-desk inquiries.
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist clinicians with routine tasks during patient visits.
  • Take basic patient measurements (height, weight, vitals) as trained and record accurately.
  • Handle patient intake, update medical records, and ensure data privacy and accuracy.
  • Coordinate referrals, lab tests, and follow-up appointments with the clinic network.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies; sanitize and clean exam rooms to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Process payments and assist with billing/insurance verification as applicable, while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualification

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare certification is a plus.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a clinic or healthcare front desk environment; training accepted.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; patient-focused and empathetic.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or clinic software; MS Office.
  • Strong organizational abilities with excellent multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
