In this role you will deliver hands-on nursing care in a busy clinic setting, focusing on patient assessment, triage, vaccination support, wound care, medications administration, and health education. You will partner with physicians and allied health professionals to plan and implement care plans, monitor patient responses, and ensure accurate documentation. Your role will also involve coordinating referrals, arranging follow-up appointments, and helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with empathy and clear communication. Responsibility
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic, including triage, assessment, and monitoring of conditions.
- Assist physicians during examinations and routine procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, vaccines, and document administration accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs, medical histories, and responses to treatments; escalate concerns promptly.
- Educate patients and families on medications, wound care, chronic disease management, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment with strict adherence to infection prevention and aseptic protocols.
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient care continuity while managing patient flow and documentation in the EHR.
Qualification
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; valid practicing license with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in outpatient or clinic settings; fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles with appropriate training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or ACLS certification; ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate teamwork, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, privacy, and infection prevention protocols.
