Join our growing Cloud Computing team in Austin, TX, building scalable, secure cloud platforms for enterprise-grade applications. You’ll work across multiple cloud providers and partner with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions.
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and operate resilient cloud infrastructure, drive automation, and advocate best practices across the organization.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead migration of on-prem workloads to the cloud with minimal downtime and risk.
- Ensure security, compliance, identity and access management, and cost optimization across environments.
- Build robust monitoring, logging, and incident response plans with cloud-native and third-party tools.
- Champion infrastructure as code and platform engineering practices across squads.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, establishing best practices and reusable patterns.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery exercises.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, networking, and security groups.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and modern CI/CD ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch) and incident response.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go) and automation mindset.
- Engineering mindset with strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Certifications like AWS, Azure, or GCP are a plus.
