As a Cluster IT Specialist, you will design, deploy, and maintain networks, servers, storage, and security controls. You will oversee property management systems and POS integrations, monitor performance, manage incident response, and execute change management with minimal disruption to hotel teams. Your responsibilities include disaster recovery planning, backup verification, and ensuring compliance with Marriott IT standards and local regulations. You will partner with vendors, manage IT projects, and provide hands-on support to front desk, food and beverage, and housekeeping teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Responsibility
- Lead the ongoing maintenance and support of cluster IT infrastructure across Marriott properties in Roxas City, Capiz.
- Monitor network performance, server health, storage utilization, backup jobs, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Administer and support property management systems and POS integrations to ensure uptime and data accuracy.
- Enforce security controls, patch management, access governance, and incident response to protect guest data and hotel operations.
- Collaborate with hotel teams and corporate IT to implement technology initiatives, projects, and change requests.
- Manage vendor relationships, software licenses, and third-party service providers; coordinate with procurement.
- Plan, test, and deploy IT changes with minimal disruption; conduct post-implementation reviews and root cause analyses.
- Provide hands-on technical support across front desk, F&B, and housekeeping; train staff on basic IT tasks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of IT experience in hospitality or multi-property environments, with a track record of delivering reliable IT services.
- Strong expertise in networking (LAN/WAN), servers (Windows and Linux), virtualization, and backup/DR solutions.
- Experience with property management systems (Opera PMS) and POS systems; familiarity with integrations and data flows.
- ITIL foundations or similar framework; excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and work across shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel within the region; ability to adapt to a 24x7 hospitality environment.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
