Responsibility
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to technical drawings and job orders.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure output meets quality standards.
- Inspect finished components for accuracy, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with company safety protocols.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality guidelines closely.
- Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
- Document machine settings and operational logs as required.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in machining preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality components.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting common machine issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis and flexible to shift schedules if required.
