- Prepare and organize mise en place for daily service, including washing, chopping, and stocking ingredients.
- Assist chefs in cooking, plating, and presenting dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency with menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen stations, including cold room and prep areas.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines; practice proper handwashing and allergen controls.
- Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and on-time ingredient replenishment; report shortages.
- Support team during peak service times; help with plating and quick-turnaround tasks.
