Responsibility
- Assist in daily pastry and bakery production, following recipes and standards.
- Prepare mise en place, measure ingredients, and maintain portion control.
- Operate and clean equipment; ensure proper handling of mixers, ovens, and piping tools.
- Support quality checks to ensure product consistency and presentation.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety practices in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to meet production deadlines and new product launches.
- Keep workstation organized and stocked; assist with inventory management and waste reduction.
- Learn from senior chefs and participate in ongoing training to develop culinary skills and career growth.
Qualification
- High school diploma or culinary school background; relevant pastry/bakery experience preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of pastry techniques, dough handling, fillings, and decorating basics.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and work well in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong team player with good communication and a proactive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand long hours and perform repetitive tasks; ability to lift moderate weights.
- Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge; willingness to obtain further certifications if required.
