Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Health Visitor to join our team at the Division of Medicine - KidSTART@KKH KIDS 0-3 on a contract basis. As a Community Health Visitor, you will play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services and support to children and families in need.
Responsibility
- Conduct home visits to assess and monitor the health and wellbeing of children
- Provide health education on nutrition, hygiene, and prevention of illness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Advocate for the needs of children and families within the community
- Participate in outreach programs to promote child health and development
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid license to practice as a Health Visitor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of community resources and support services
