Responsibility
- Assist company secretary in preparing and maintaining statutory records and registers in compliance with the Companies Act and related regulations.
- Draft and prepare board resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other secretarial documents as required.
- Coordinate and manage timely filing of statutory documents and annual returns with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Support the incorporation of new companies and handle changes in corporate structures, such as changes of directors, share transfers, or registered office.
- Liaise with clients, authorities, and external parties to ensure smooth secretarial processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation, both physically and digitally.
- Provide general administrative support to the company secretarial and corporate advisory teams.
- Stay updated with current legislative changes and regulatory compliance matters affecting corporate secretarial practices.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Corporate Administration or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years’ experience in company secretarial roles, preferably in an accounting or corporate services firm.
- Basic understanding of Malaysian Companies Act 2016 and related statutory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude, integrity, and willingness to learn with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
