Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook menu items to standard recipes, ensuring consistent flavor, quality, and portion control.
  • Maintain mise en place and clean, organized stations; uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and accurate plating.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with stock checks, and help manage daily prep to minimize waste.
  • Assist with menu execution, seasonal updates, and adherence to recipe specifications.
  • Ensure equipment safety and sanitation; promptly report maintenance needs or hazards.
  • Support and mentor junior kitchen staff during peak service and training sessions.

Qualification

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced kitchen or hotel/restaurant setting.
