As a Cook, you will follow approved recipes and cooking techniques to prepare a variety of menu items, including grilled specialties, fried favorites, and staple entrees. You will monitor cooking times, control portions, and maintain consistent product quality. You will manage stock levels, assist with receiving and storage, and support kitchen operations during peak hours. You will operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, perform routine cleaning, and ensure compliance with sanitation standards and HACCP guidelines. You will communicate with team members and supervisors to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction. - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and brand standards to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain portion control, plating, and presentation for all dishes
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines during all kitchen activities
- Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving of deliveries
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to handle busy service periods
- Support menu execution and adapt to menu changes and specials
Qualification
- Proven experience as a cook or line cook in fast-paced restaurants or fast-food environments
- Knowledge of food safety practices and allergen controls
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills
