We are seeking a results-driven Cost Accountant Specialist to join our finance team in Makati City. This role focuses on cost analysis, budgeting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting to ensure accurate product costing and profitability across our kitchen solutions portfolio.
As a Cost Accountant Specialist, you will partner with procurement, operations, and sales to drive cost control initiatives, optimize margins, and support strategic decision-making for our wholesale business focused on kitchen equipment and appliances.

The Cost Accountant will play a key role in delivering transparent cost data to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis across our product lines. You will leverage data-driven insights to guide pricing, supplier negotiations, and value engineering opportunities.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, manage working capital effectively, and ensure timely, audit-ready financial reporting. What you will do
- Develop and maintain standard costing for all products, including variance analysis and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports, profitability analysis by product line and customer segment.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor cost drivers and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee inventory valuation, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate recording of obsolescence and write-downs.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations to drive cost-saving initiatives, supplier negotiations, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements; coordinate with internal/external auditors.
- Assist in month-end close, revenue recognition, fixed assets accounting, and depreciation schedules as needed.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience in wholesale or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and profitability metrics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; capable of cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of Philippines accounting standards and tax regulations; audit experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in Makati and contribute to a dynamic kitchen equipment wholesale business.
